Eerie Dream

 In my dream,my eerie dream:

    I was back to the old village where I grew up till 14. There were many big houses made of mud and timber, roofs covered with  tins, and many of them share common walls. Some houses were located at isolated places, and there were secluded pathways passing through trees and bushes, connecting them with the other houses. The places seemed eerie in my dreams because eerie human-like creatures, who had ethereal powers inhabited these secluded pathways.

  The strange thing is that in the dream, my home was not in its original place, but at one of the isolated locations, surrounded along the fence-line with tall trees and bushes. The pathway was narrow, and their were tall bushes growing on one side of the pathway. They droop down their necks like they want to sway their long leaves over our heads and ears.

   I dreamt that a big college hall was located where my home used to stand. Then, I saw her. My first crush. Beautiful as ever. Still in our teenage days. It was short-lived though because soon after that I saw another girl who was a friend of mine, dancing on the floor with traditional costumes, and she was supposed to be the imaginary elder sister of my crush.

  Then, I was called upon by my brother to drop somebody to my home. It was the early time of the night. So I went with that someone whom i don't see anywhere nor do i knew who, and we start passing through the eerie narrow path. As I was passing along the path, I was suddenly all alone. It didn't matter to me in the dream, and so I continued to walk. Then, I began to remember about the ethereal creatures dwelling in those secluded places which I was about to pass through. So I started devising a means to keep those creatures at bay, away from me. I felt I could use a mirror to repel these creatures from my reaches by deflecting sunlight from the mirror. I felt my pocket and found a small piece of a broken mirror. I took it to my hand and lifted in front of me. Just then, in the dark night, there was sunlight shining down upon the mirror. It still was night time.

  Soon, I sensed a dark shadowy creature rushing around me, and gradually towards me. I used the mirror and shone the deflecting sunlight towards him. The sunlight hit him.

  But there he stood in front of me with an eerie smile on his face. The sunlight had no effect on him. And he stood as if I was taller than him. I saw his face and recognized him as one of my seniors in the college which I attended sometimes back. He took my hand and handed me another piece of mirror and said,"You take this piece of mirror and check out the whereabouts of a girl whom I liked. You go home, and look into the mirror. Then speak her name and you will see everything you need to know about her residence. And tell me later what you have known from the mirror. We ethereal creatures cannot look into the mirror without hurting ourselves. So I am giving it to you." 

  I took the mirror and I continued to walk along the eerie pathways, towards our home, located among the isolated surroundings of shady trees and dark bushes.
